hey guys, i just got one (my car didnt have one). does it just set in or are there screws that are supposed to go in from behind?? i still have to take it to a shop to have it painted (its NBM)!!

Sorry, that's not right. You should have 2 tabs on top that fit into slots and 2screws that go into holes on the bottom. Probably haven't taken it off lately, but if you check you will find the screws on the bottom.
These should be the same Torx head screws that hold the side marker lights in.

Mine has the paint codes on the back. Maybe it's for the car and not just the cover, don't know. Primer is PPG Dark Grey, 882 is under the bar code, part # 9600884. Top Coat is PPG Navy Blue, a blue/green sticker covers the rest. 166 is under the bar code. Part number 960, rest unreadable.
GM part # stamped in the bottom edge of the plastic is 10276 353 >TED< . Whatever that means. Blue pencil marks say 307C and under that is 17C. This cover is off my previous '01 Firebird NBM, cause my '02 WS6 NBM didn't have the cover. Hope the paint code helps.
