Yes the New ZR1 Corvette motor will be introduced with an LS9 all aluminum small block 6.2L 2v Pushrod Motor with a roots style supercharger having 650hp.

That motor all alone will probably be worth around 11-12K from GM IMO.

Isnt the LS7 hand built though?? That is the reason it costs so much. While the LS3 is still built via assembly right?

I'm guessing that IF they make a LS9 crate motor it wil be $20,000.

its actually not an LS3. its based off an LS3 with a few internal and architectural tweaks.

I'm surprised more people aren't interested in just the supercharger. Shouldn't this thing bolt onto any gen IV small block?

From what I read about the fitment of the engine in the 'vette that there was no space at all for clearance under the hood. Do F-bodies have more space over the engine under the hood than a 'vette?

Take what you think and tack on a few thousand dollars. I'm saying $20,000 - $25,000 But it'll last 100,000 miles unlike most custom built motors!

The block will, but the supercharger might not fit under the 4th gen cowl. Also, it, like the newest gen IV motors, it has a 58x reluctor wheel; won't work with LS1 computer. Will need a 24x wheel.
