Default 01 z06 question

You can run as much boost as you want. The question is how much boost can you run on a factory bottom end with out forged internals. Most of the kits for a factory motor generally run anywhere from 7-9 psi. Depending on other mods such as lts, aftermarket manifold, h/c ect...the horse power can vary. If its a fully stock motor I would expect any where from high 400s to low to mid 500s with a procharger setup or single turbo running 7-9 psi and a good tune. Im no expert, I would also tell you to check out the forced induction section of the forum.

That's too much for an 01. You can get an 05 for that price these days.

Yea but that thing is heavily modded. That procharger alone is 5k+

"Shrugs" I didn't know it had a forged 347 and maggie. Still not worth it IMO

forged and boosted i feel its worth the price, at least in my area.

Show me where u can get a 05 for 27500? I dont think its a bad price but you need to figure in a tranny rebuild...

i own an 01...and my question is y is he selling it w/ such low miles on the new engine....i bought my car w/ 45k on it and paid $25000 for it....so IF is is legit than go for it

^^^ T-56 rebuilds aren't that bad though, depending on how crazy you wanna get with stuff like faceplating, etc.

Around here that would be about what it would go for stock, and 05's are usually 35k+ (asking price)

just a little update, bottom end is fordged and my buddy has a c6 and a c6 z06 already, no need for another c6....he went and looked at it and test drove it, he liked it, prob going to buy it, thanks for the "help".

That will go for atleast 29000 if the buy it now is 30000 which is still 1500 more than 27500..
