Ideas needed. C6 Z06 or 03 KB Cobra?

I just sold my SS today and I have a delima. Should I spring and get a used C6 Z06 or just pick up another KB Cobra? We all know a C6Z is a better car in everyway, sort of but it also cost 2X as much.
$25K KB Cobra
+ $25K KB Cobra
Equals $50K C6 Z06
I only drive about 50-100 miles a month since I have a company truck and the KB Cobra (640rwhp) will actually be faster than a bolt on C6Z. I can H/C/Bolt on the C6Z but at what cost. Im just wonder if the payment $730-770 (C6Z) a month vs $390-430 (KB Cobra already modded) is "worth it". Im thinking YEA but help me decide.
They will both hold thier value pretty well.
Im renting an 08 Z06 in a week or 2 so I can see how it drives. I'll post up the pics.
What do you guys think?

Get the Z06. Cobra's are badass, but they are not even in the same league as the new z06. And yes any car can be wicked fast with money. But isn't it nice to have a car that makes 505 hp out of the box without even touching anything. No pullie swaps. Haha. Plus you know the z06 will not stay stock. Jay you live in South Florida. There is more money here than in most parts of the world. You will get beat no matter which car you have. Be reasonable. There is always somebody bigger and badder out there that is packing more heat than you. The cobra's are sick fast when done right but not untouchable. Don't forget that.

Why not get a used C6 and mod the hell out of it? I have seen 05-06 C6's with under 10K miles for approx $35K. If you tossed in $10K worth of mods you would have a beast on your hands. C6 Z06 is definately an amazing machine but id go another route IMO. Also, have you looked at used vipers? You can get a real good deal on the earlier GTS models and they have amazing mod potential as well.

I went from a WS6 M6 to a CTS-V and it was the best choice I ever made. Mines an 05 with the LS6 with a 6-speed. Stock its 400hp. The guy I bought it from was a dentist with mad money. He had a Z06 and said he got more girls with the caddy than he ever did with the Z06.

I thought about a C6 and even a C5 but I really feel I would be settling. An FI C5/C6 would be a hell of a car just like a well built KB Cobra but I could never make it a C6 Z06. I did think of a Viper too.

I love the big bad 4 doors! CTS-V's, SRT8's and G8's.

Oh I totally hear what your saying and if your set on a C6 Z06 then def go that route as you said you dont want to settle and in the end wish you bought something else. I love the C6 Z06's, im just more a bang for the buck type of guy and would rather have an insanely fast f-body/C5/C6/Viper/Cobra than a fast C6 Z06. However none of them will hold their value like the C6 Z. Def a tough choice but what a nice choice to be making! Def let us know which way you go!
