How much for 2002 LE SS
I was just wondering what you guys think a 2002 Special edition SS M6 would be worth? The car has 70k miles and has different exhaust not sure what brand, and some ugly tail lights, not sure if he has the stock ones still. Have only seen a few pictures of the car, states "it is loaded every option" This is the second owner of the car and states it was always stored indoors.

Ok I talked with the owner, he is 62 said he has babied it the entire time he has had it bought it from original owner his friends wife, selling it due to losing his leg and cant drive a stick anymore.
He said it is all stock with exception of flowmaster muffler, and tail lights, good news he has the stock tail lights. He said it has brand new tires, never been in rain, always kept indoors, has stock 35th ss floor matts still in package, interior perfect, one small hardly noticable scratch in back, synthetic oil change documented every 3k, trans and rearend every 10k with synthetic.
Based on this if it is as nice as he claims with 70486miles how much do you think it would be worth?

Here in Chicago, ( ?where are you? ) a stealership would get ~21k, private~17k.
Is the interior perfect? I love the custom seats in those.
I passed on a new one when I was shopping because the stripes are decals and I worried how they would look in 20 years. Also too many red cars out there these days (that package only came in red).
The real question is... what is it worth to you?

I dont know if it is perfect but that is what the guy claims, it is down about 2.5hrs from my house so haven't got to go look yet. I really like those seats too. I was wondering how the decals fair with time as well. It is a private party.

Anything in the $15,000 - $17,000 range would be OK. The mileage is not a concern with that documented maintenance. If the mileage was lower then it would be around $20,000 or even more. Smart he kept the original lens' too.

Alrighty thanks for the input guys, I know around here the normal SS sells for about 2k more than the same z28 would and it is pretty rare to even see one of the special edition ones. I did not know how much the milage would affect the price cause most of the special edition ones are lower it seems like, however if it is as good as the guy talks it sounds like it would be a really nice car. thanks for the input so far guys I appreciate it.
