Default Pictures of the New Camaro and ZR1 Vette

Whats up fellow Tech'ers,

I was in Detroit for the Woodward Dream cruise and thought that I would post up some pictures of the two most anticipated cars that are coming out soon. For some of you that dont know what the woodward dream cruise is....it is about 80,000 + cars that take place in a cruise and park type show that brings in about 2 million people that shows up and watch the cars cruise up woodward which is a very long road, and I mean long. This year officials didnt know how many cars participated in the dream cruise because it is getting bigger and bigger every year, and that includes the people, they think that 2.2 million plus show up this year.

So here are Corvette ZR1 and the Camaro. And let me tell you, these pics dont do any justice, they are amazing in person. So here they are. Enjoy.

Mike S.

Great pics.
Hence the backwords police. I love that. They both look gorgeous but honestly I'm shocked by how big the Camaro is. I never understood until I saw someone standing by one. No wonder it weighs so much. And am I behind on the times, why is there still an RS badge on the front grill? Last I heard it wasn't one of the flavors.

The RS is an appearance package that can be added to any of the models I believe. And yeah the Camaro looks huge there with people standing by it.

I am going to have to agree I like the looks but it is so big and heavy they should have made some improvements on weight.

Burnt Orange, hell yeah.

I like the looks of the new Camaro, but I wish it was smaller. Didn't GM define "Camaro" as a "small viscous creature that feeds on Mustangs"? Or something like that..

Still think the camaro looks fugly.

That ZR1 is absolutely stunning -- my girlfriend wants a burnt orange C6, maybe she would be satisfied with a ZR1?

They must really be going for a straight-line car this time around.

looks huge...if its really that big and not just a bad perspective on the pics then that really sucks

bad enough they had to bolt wagon wheels onto it, but if its really that big a land yacht then they can keep them...way to skrew up something nice
