Cant get the link to work but....yes Ive seen hardtop Firebirds. Rare but they are out there.

In fact it was an OPTION to get TTops in a Formula so if you didnt want to shell out the 1200 (I think thats how much it was) then you get a hard top.

Hardtop Firebirds and Formulas I've seen for sure. There was only one hardtop White Trans Am in 1998 I believe, and every single Trans Am since that has had T-tops or a Vert.

My Formula is a hardtop. I hardly ever see other Firebirds with hardtops.

Thats because only 10% of LS1s Firebirds were Formulas which HAD the option of TTops. You HAD to have them if you got a Trans Am.

Not too sure of the Camaros. I'll post back when I figure that out.

On a Camaro its not near as rare I would think because you could order a SS in a hardtop. You cant get an accurate number of hardtop Pontiacs because GM doesnt have detailed info from 98-01 but it does for 02.

As you can see 31.4% of Camaros were hardtops. Only 6% of 02 Firebirds were hardtops though!

Just click the attachment. Forum wouldnt let me cut and paste it.

I was about to buy a hardtop Formula....but I didn't want a hardtop...I needed those T-Tops and love them on my Trans-Am!

Here is the Formula I was about to buy...main reason for not buying it was lack of T-Tops:

How do you find out how many were built?

Firebird build numbers blow. The Camaro is the only one with TRUELY detailed info. The 02 Firebirds are the only Pontiacs that were detailed. Everything else is basically just how many were made as a Trans Am, WS6, Firebird and Formula.

All I know about my 2000 is that it is one of 1302 for that year. No break down by color, tranny, roof or options.
