Screw the pic dude, just do it! Lol! Seriously though, I will try to do that for you when I have the time though man and post it back here. But the dual duals are pretty "standard" on SLP cars and don't flow as well as some other after market ones. But as far as stock Firehawk T/A goes, it works for me and they are the best flowing STOCK you can find IMO.

First one is my 86 Cutlass, same firing order as all the Gen 1,2 SBC. Second one is of a '68 Charger 440 Magnum. I have a soft spot for the 440. it's got the deepest, bassiest "don't F*&K with me" sound of all the big blocks IMO. I like the sound of both motors tho when it's LS1/LT1.

Lets face it folks, we are ALL lucky here if we have LT1s and LS1s. Go listen to buddies neon highline down the street parked in front of the local Starbucks with his badass fart can!!! He's got us ALL beat, as far as sounding like a wet fart goes! Lmao. Ok ok, sorry not trying to be a jerk, I just think that these Fbodys all sound sweet and it's just such a subjective topic when it comes to sound. Whatever sounds good to you is what you should stick with. After all, you are the one who will be driving around and hearing it all day (other than the competition you just smoked speeding along behind you).

Really, I guess I can relate with that. My old 95 T/A used to send chills down my back I just find that this LS1 sounds like something more exotic and somehow just different and has a little more of a "lope" to it. Either way they both sound so sweet that it's hard to forget the sound when you sell your baby to someone else. I'd wake up in a cold sweat at night after selling my M6 LT1 T/A. Can still hear it some nights when it's quiet and the night is still Loved it to death.

A lot of times I hear something coming, and I expect to turn and see a farm truck or a big jacked up truck with rebel flags or some **** on it. Instead I turn and see an LT1 or 3rd gen lol

I loved my cammed sound... just a bit of lope to it at idle and a lot of bass tone thanks to the longtubes. It's above 2500rpm that it just screams, below that it's rather tame. Lt1 cars and Gen I SBC's in general have that idlet o mid rpm that just make you go wow. I think that's why my car manages to sneak around without getting any cop attention as I try to keep it under than power band when driving it around in city. Once on the highway and you are in 2nd just waiting for a chance to punch after getting off the ramp and into the fast lane... that's the moment I remember why I bought this car. Nothing like one second be below the speed limit and the next exceeding it a good chunk...

also guys, for the record the LS1 and mod 4.6 have the same firing order. so if you do an H pipe to flowmasters on an LS1 and a mustang, they would almost be identical sounding.
lots of things come into play with the sound difference of the LT1 and LS1. firing order, aluminum block, boreXstroke, etc.

IMO a stock LT1 sounds better than a stock LS1. A stock LT1 with long tubes needs a cam to sound good to me. Stock LS1's however do sound good to me with just long tubes. Makes no sense I know, but that's the best I can do to explain myself.
