Default How do I get the driver's seat out if the motor doesn't work?

I started taking out my interior to spray it with Al's Sound Deadener, but when I got to the driver's seat I hit a dead end.

Something is screwed up and none of the controls work on it. I checked the breaker and it is good, so I'm guessing there is some control panel or something in it that is bad.

Anyway, it is back as far as it can go, so I can only get three of the bolts out.

Any ideas how the hell to get this seat out?

Is it the right rear? Have you already taken out the drivers side rear seat cushion(more arm room) you should be able to get either a open/closed end wrench on it.

Lightbulb

Here's some pictures of the lower assembly, maybe this will help.
FYI,
This is with the assembly in the full forward position.

It's the one on the left rear, like on the door side in the back. I can't even see the damn thing.

I thought I checked the power wire, but to tell you the truth I don't remember. That would be obvious, so I may have overlooked it.

Yeah, I really doubt that all 3 motors went bad at the same time.

Good luck!

It was a little tough, but i was able to get the seat out when my driver seat wasnt working. I just squeezed the wrench in there. Mine was working because the power wire got corroded and broke off.

Gear wrenches should help - 15 or 13 mm.

I can't even see the damn nut to get it off, that's the problem.

I'm going to try again tonight. Been down with back issues the last week, but it's feeling better now.

I gotta get this **** out, I want to spray the sound deadener and get the 6-spd swapped in!

Got it off last night. I removed the seat from the track and then took the track out. I have no idea why the motors won't work, all the wiring and connections seem ok.

Who knows. I'll check the power to it when I go to put it back.
