Default look what I found

after doing an oil change

95,000k
99 camaro v8/M6

just as unbolt the bolt from the oil pan found one of the big peices at the tip of the bolt.

I know this cant be good but how bad do you think this is?

the three little pins are perfectly round shape ends

what are those?

what all is broken inside?

car makes no internal no noises nada

do u think i should drive the car

conecting road bearing??? it could be dangerous for the heads and expensive...

Thats not a rod bearing. Its probably part of one of the rockers.

sorry to hear/see that by the way. You need to find out where that came from, and hope there isn't any significant damage.

+1 trunion bearings.check out comp cams,they have a rebuild kit for ls1 rockers.

Good thing you did your own oil change a quick lube place may of over looked that.
Time to replace the rocker arms

It's just a rocker needle bearing that came apart.

so its a rocker arm & rocker needle bearing huh?

any idea on how this could have happen?

bearing likely seized and caused the trunion to fail.just have to removed the valve covers to find out which rocker arm failed and if there is more than 1.
