Coolant Blowing through the Overfill Tube
Ive been fighting this problem with my car for sometime now. When my car starts getting hot at wot I have coolant that blows out of my overfill tube. My car does not seem like it wants to stay cool. I have checked the fans and even lowered the on temp down.
I have tried changing the thermostat and a few different radiator caps but nothing seems to be fixing it. My car is not putting out any white smoke and runs great. The system is holding pressure as well. I am stumped of what to try next. Any suggestions?

not sure if you can get this at an auto parts store...buuuuut
theres such a tool called a "block tester" and what happens is, you take your radiator cap off, with the car running, use this tool, and fill it with a specified amt of fluid thats with the kit, and place the end of it over the radiator fill...let it run...and if you possibly have a headgasket internally leaking itll sense the carbon dioxied in the coolant, and change the color of the fluid.

Yeah the fans are working. I tested them the other day with a buddy of mine who has hptuners. I am not leaking any coolant though so that would cancel out the hose unless the radiator could crack internally?

Does it run at normal temps if you DO NOT go WOT?
Blown head gasket(s) that only has cylinder gases pushing through on the compression stroke at higher rpm's, won't always show up on a coolant system pressure test.
If the engine runs normal temps driving casually, I'd do a leakdown test.
If its getting hot all the time....maybe a sheared water pump shaft. See if the coolant flows with the radiator cap off when the t-stat opens.

Yes the car heats up after normal driving not just wot but it only blows out of the overfill cap with the car is hot and I run WOT. It takes a while for it to heat up just idling but ill let it idle and get warm with the cap off and see what it does.

If your temp gauge is not in an overheating position, like near the red area, then I would have to think its a blown head gasket pushing air into the system at WOT.
Only way coolant boils over......air pocket in the system AND blown head gasket. With a proper mix of coolant/Dexcool....temps can go right up to 270*F and NOT boil out...if the system has no air in there.

Lets put a twist on this. What would cause the radiator cap to keep blowing out and not holding the pressure. (I forgot about this) but every time when it happens I test the cap and it does not hold pressure.
