Default 98 z28 po134

Hey guys iam new here and I just me a 98 z28 and iam enjoying it. When I got it it had already had long tube headers on it with no cats straight pipes well I been fixing it cuz it had issues and it started to run fine but then po134 pop up it has 02 sims on it I swap them still same code pops up I check the hardness and it runs inside the factory harness any help guys I going carzy

Sounds like your simulators are bad. Get new ones, get real O2s, or tune them out.

OK I put 02 sensors still got po134 any more help

O2 sims are for the REAR O2 sensors, and it sounds like they are working just fine since you don't have any rear O2 codes.

P0134 is a DTC that reflects an issue with the FRONT O2 sensor (bank 1).

Changing O2 sims/rear sensors is not going to do anything to help you with a front O2 sensor DTC/problem. Work on the correct sensor and you might find much better results from your efforts.

OK I dig more in to it but I just c two rear o2 not 4 but I check more into it this is my first ls car so I know I got a lot to learn thanks for the info

I'm not entirely sure what you just said, but in factory configuration there are four O2 sensors total. Two sensors are "front/pre-cat" (meaning before the cats), and two are "rear/post-cat" (meaning after the cats).

As you currently have O2 sims in the post-cat locations, there are two other locations forward of the O2 sims that should still have actual O2 sensors in them. Since you mentioned having LT headers, the front O2s should be located in the header collector area, and thus very easy to spot.
