Default Damn the "LOW TRAC" "BRAKE" and "ABS INOP" lights

Those lights are all working together to **** ME OFF! They come on all at the same time and everything. I was looking under the hood and I'm guessing when the lights came on in the dash, because have you ever heard a penny in the dryer? That's the sound that the ABS module is making underneath the hood, but only when those lights are on I assume.

Someone help me before I beat the absolute **** outta my car! If I can't get anywhere I'm taking it to the dealership to have the scan the car, thanks.

Do the come on and stay on for an extended period? When I accelerate quickly in my Camaro or spin the tires, my ABS INOP light comes on too. It goes off after a while.

mine go on for about 5 seconds when i start the car and go out. if they are stuck on it might be something wrong with the lights and not ur car. The traction light also goes on when I'm lightin' em up or if i'm on dirt or somehitng.

Hold on before you beat your car down. Have you recently change tires? To a different size, maybe. That will definatley do it. Especially with ASR and ABS. If so, then you have to flashed for a tire diameter change. if not, try checking the reluctor rings on all 4 wheels. Make sure heavy dirt/mud isn't in there or you might have a broken pick-up sensor.

check the ground wires on the passenger side shock tower by the power steering resivoir and the red box, clean them, tighten them good and see if the lights go out.

They come on and stay on for about 5 or 10 seconds. THen turn off for about 25 seconds or so, then come back on.

I took my TT2s off for the winter and the tire sizes I have now are 245/50/16s in front and 235/60/16s out back.
Compared to the 275/40/17s all the way around...

Mine does the same thing, noise and all. It all started after the LT install. I don't know if the heat did it or if I fried a wire somewhere or what but it will be removed soon.

Any tire size change will wreak havoc on a 4 channel ABS system.

well ive done the same as you and havent had a problem.. i went from 275's and 315's to 215's so i don't think it was your tire change.. and since all of your tire diameters and within eachother i dought it is. try cleaning that ground that controls all those modules like i said eariler it's happened in my z and as soon as i cleaned those grounds and the fuseable links the problem was gone.

THanks man, but where are the grounds for those modules....

I cleaned the ground that is next to the postive thing on the frame under the hood, and nothing happened

Welcome gauge light club.
I have exact same problem except it does it even when my lights are off.
I got so pissed i took out my ABS fuse under the hood and said screw it(to stop that penny in the dryer sound). I would really like to know a resolution as well. By the way this happened after a header install as well. I would just like to know what is gettin fried here.

Luckily I have a shift light that is mounted on the steering column and the passenger can't see the gauges on that side
