I've seen him posting on here as a non-sponsor. I don't believe he's banned. Sounds like not much has changed, when I originally ordered my TB years ago, it took well over a month to get and almost as long to get my core exchange back.

Once i tore down my car i recently noticed hair line cracks where he epoxied the TB. I know sponsors no longer use epoxy on TB, and i'm kinda worried about re-using it with my new motor...

Scott Jantzer is a piece of ****, and has been f-ing people for years. He does GREAT work, when you can actually get him to deliver it. Unfortunately for him, talent alone doesn't always get the job done. Blanco learned his lesson using Jantzer, hopefully nobody else has to.

I'm glad I caught this thread because I have been eyeballing one of this factory ported throttle bodies for a while and was just about to order one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS1-P...1935QQtcZphoto

I am patient to an extent, but I believe that once you are spending someone's cash, it's time to give them their product. So I would not have been able to put up with his crap.

Thanks for saving me the hassle guys.

I sent him a brand *** new LS2 throttle body in December to be ported and scribed my initials in the bottom to make sure I got my brand new TB back and two to three weeks later, I received a used, sand blasted, ported TB. I WAS F'n PISSED!

After asking nicely where my new one was and telling him I was upset I got a used TB back, he started in telling me how I was ungrateful for the quick turn around in his busy season, he gave me a discounted price, I was an un-happy person, and I should be in the X-mas spirit and all that horse ****.

We traded several nasty e-mails and left with matching F-U's.. I will never use him again. If you are sending in a used TB to be ported and get a used portedTB back, you are probably ok, but he's not very professional in my opinion. Beware....

Hey Scott, as soon as I get confirmation via IP thats you, your *** is gone......again.

One thing many know about me, is that I don't sugar coat anything. If something or someone is a piece of ****, I'm going to call it like it is. In your case, well......I called it like it was.

And no, I no longer offer ported TB's to the masses anymore, only on engines I build locally. So I'm not "talking down to a direct competitor", more so speaking facts about a person who's shown their true colors over and over and over and over and over again throughout the past 8-10 yrs. Hopefully one day you can get some help to kick whatever addiction it is that you have that makes you lead your life the way you do, and you can be successful.

Take care.

And for anyone curious who's new to the situation, here's quite a few reasons why Scott is banned here, not allowed to sell parts or be a sponsor here, and is generally disliked by the entire LS1tech community...

Damn! You were being nice when you called him a piece of ****! He is far worst than that! Banning someone like that is nothing to what should be done to him. All the people that got ripped off, doesn't even count the ones that didn't bother posting or the people who are not members of club sites!

That's a mere fraction of the people that have dealt with BS from Jantzer. I had to file a complaint/recall on my funds with a transaction with Scott back in 2001......7 years ago when I paid him to port some heads I never got. After waiting 3 months, and being pumped full of "im sick and dont feel well" excuses I got my money back. Just short of hopping on a plane and getting my money in person.

I hate to come off so aggressive here, but I think it's very important the public knows about Scott and his antics so they don't fall victim to them. Especially now that Blanco is no longer carrying his products, or backing his mistakes. As of now, if Scott screws you, you are completely on your own. BEWARE. He's not a sponsor here, hasn't been one in a long time, and there's a damn good reason for that.

Well I recently bought from a Ebay seller (photz6) I do not know if he is a member here or not, I read all the Neg, about Scott on this site and read his Ebay feedback, and the fact that 99blanco No longer sold his products. So I sent Scott an emil asking him about the Neg posts, he did reply, stating lS1 tech was to much politics, the person selling his products on here was the problem (lack of payment) ect. I emailed Photz6 he replyed with in 2 hrs, was a very nice guy, he spoke no Neg towards Scott or his work, said he did great work but was having issues. Long story short the feedback and comments about Scott, lead me to buy from John (Photz6). I got a email shortly after the purchase from John, He seems like a great guy, chances are he is on the boards, if so please let me know his screen name.

This is the Ebay add, he aslo does a outright sale with a $70.00 core

That TB in the ebay link looks decent, but it looks like there's a lot more material that could be removed in front/around the blade. Definitely a nice job for the price he's asking though.

And the boob advertisements are a little played out

Giggle, but they do catch your eye
I had a dealing with Scot Jantzer - i bought a used cam from him when i got it - it looked to have brinelling on several lobes and decided I didnt want to take the chance with my motor and returned it to him I finally got a refund after a couple weeks - he made it right so I cant really complain, but Damian has pointed out several reasons NOT to buy from him so I guess I was lucky. I had a great deal with Damian a while back too bad he quit doing T-bodies -stand up guy.

I'm glad the word is still being spread about Scott. He screwed me over in the past and I'm in a few of those threads Damian linked to. I would say I'm one of the worst examples of him screwing people. Here's a brief summary: Paid for ported TB with core charge and later sent in my core after buying another ported TB from someone else with the intention of selling that one once I got the Jantzer piece. Didn't receive ANYTHING for about 2 YEARS with several emails back and forth while I was on deployment. Finally got the TB and some used valve covers in return for my core that I had sent in over a year prior. He couldn't cough up the core refund but sent me some valve covers to sell on ebay...he's a scumbag.
