Dont get your hopes up guys. That new intake is atleast 2" taller than the intake on the GM sunoco tribute car. You will have to cut up into the windshield. Edelbrock has found a way to screw up again.

Just saw it in a chevy high performance mag. Bolted it onto a motor and picked up 36 hp. gains are good, but not a whole lot of info on the motor.

And screwed up? We arent the market for most of the stuff edelbrock sells. for the price and potential gains who cares how much you need to cut, if your one of those people that need every last rwhp then youll cut your cowl.

I hear you, but the amount of cowl you may need to cut could actually impact the stuctural integrity of the windsheild. We are all speculating till someone buys one and tries to throw it on a car.

I have been thinking about the new Edelbrock intake but I don't want to hack up my hood or install a different one. Staying with my Typhoon for now

You'd think someone from edelbrock would be in this thread, or at least reading it. You can get straight answers from Lingenfelter, Wiseco, etc. very timely on this site. Where's edelbrock?

Hell with the wiper assembly... you would have to chop out a rather large section of the windshield itself. Edelbrock has screwed the pooch on us. The price is great in this intake but there is no way in hell a street f-body could use this thing... back to the drawing board
