Default Vid of my true duals with magnaflow XL mufflers

Finally got around to taking a quick vid of my true duals. Its 3 inch with x pipe and magnaflow XL 4x9 mufflers dumped at the rear axle. I drove around without the turn downs and it was ok but vibrated the car and alot of interior resonance. After I added the angled turndowns on the highway there is no drone inside the car and its very tame.

When you get on it, it reminds me of a vette or mustang. It sounds better in person. It has NO rasp either. After hearing some guys Camaro on here with the same setup I was sold.

My mods are pacesetter LT's, Hot Cam and LS6 intake to name a few. Enjoy!

That's one of the better sounding dual systems I've heard on here so far, especially since there's no rasp like you said....

Thanks guys! I heard it on the thread below from Quik99SS. It does sound a little better in person since I was using my camera. The thread below has some better quality sound on it.

After putting my headers on with the magnamouth I very disappointed how it sounded with all the rasp. Once I heard Quik99SS's car I was in love.

That is excellent! I just purchased a similar setup with some high flow cats so mine may be even a little more tame. I posted a thread wondering if my current setup was going to be quieter than this new one because I couldn't seem to find any sound clips/videos that had magnaflow 4x9's on a true dual setup... and your video just pretty much answered my question. I'm confident it will be quieter. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! Car sounds great!

Is your car lowered? Just wondering if you have any other pics of the exhaust setup. Awesome sounding car!

Here are a couple pics hope it helps. Now keep in mind my exhaust in 3 inch. If you went 2.5 inch it would give you some more clearance. I havent had any issues but I havent went over any speed bumps either. And no my car isnt lowered. Just has the stock Bilstein susp on it.

Couldn't open the pics, said it's set to private. You wouldn't happen to have the part numbers of the magnaflow mufflers you used. Thanks

Old topic but damn this set up sounds pretty good to me. Just got a magnaflow bullet to run a magnamouth.

Picking up a TD system next week minus the mufflers..and think I finally made my choice on which muffler for my winter install

I have the same thing, but with standard Magnaflow 4x9, not sure what the XL is???

11229 I think is the part number. Anyhow it does sound great.

Question: Did the turndowns really make that much of a difference inside? My vibration/interior noise is still 100x better then the bullets I had on before, but still there. If the turndowns made a big difference I'll put them on (they are on the workbench ), but I haven't put them on because I like the look from behind w/o them...
