take it to a local exhaust shop... they will stretch your stock piping to fit around the cutout.... then weld it on....

its no big deal.. and will be cheap..

My Exhaust is setup 3" Y'd into a 4", then necked down to a 3.5" with an Electric Cutout on the 3.5" section. I open that up and it sounds like a fckn race car..lol

I would put a 3in cut out in even though u have 2.5 for now cause ya know like everyone else that stock **** coming off one of these days and you will go to 3in.

Another thing i wouldn't put 2 on right after the headers or manifolds your engine needs the back pressure from both banks to run right plus you only got to buy one, your exhaust shop will know who to make your 3in cut out work with your 2.5 i put mine in right under the rear pass seat and it doesnt sound like a dump truck it sounds good!!!!

stock exhaust is around 2.75" so they dont have to fill that much when welding...3" works great

man... i almost forgot...

if your interested... i got a brand new in the box QTP cutout... has the plate bolts and everything with it.. was never put on or anything, its the same exactly way QTP has them....

ill let it go for 45 shipped..
