installing solid motor mounts??

installing solid motor mounts?? so all the install rants and instructions ive seen are for poly mounts. how muc harder are solids?? i konw they process will obviously different and im wondering if this is something ill be able to tackle in my garage

The hardest part doing my prothane engine mounts was lining everything back up (matching the mounts to the block and the k-member. That was a major PITA!!!
Like ^ he said it would just eliminate the step of re-building the stock housing with new mounts so there wouldn't be any torching, drilling, grinding and other fun stuff!!
If you don't mind the extra noise and vibrations from the solid mounts, go ahead.

solids are kool, got mine from spohn. but when letting out the clutch in mild city driving the vibes resonate throught the car till about 1,200 rpm

my solids will be here thursday got them from lmperformance and have buddies all lined up for the job at hand this weeekend. Cant freaking wait lol
