If you have been reading this thread, I don't understand why you are asking that question. It has been covered very thoroughly, to include part numbers, what models of vehicles these coils come on, and in case your reading comprehension is poor, there are also multiple pictures that show you exactly what they look like.
If despite the loads of indentifying information in this thread, you still can't figure it out, just ask Petrazewsky to get you some.

love that colr ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
for your coil swap, did you use your stock coil bracket? Or did you have to use another coil bracket for the 6.0 coil packs?
Also are the coils plug-n-play with out harness?
Can you PM me some more info? There is a reason why turbo guys are using these coil packs

I've been waiting for this question.
The LS1 coil brackets will not mount the truck coils.
The LS1 coil wiring harnesses will NOT work as the plugs and pin-outs on the coil end is different. The coil harness to engine harness plug is the same and the new harness will plug in directly.
The truck coil brackets are 10457736, 2 needed.
The LS2 wiring harnesses are 12601824, 2 needed.
The coils are 10457730 (AC D585), 8 needed.
GM/Chevy trucks had several different coils and brackets so be careful. These coils are the ones with the heat sink on the backside. Brackets from other coils will not fit.
On the the LS1 F-body cars, the A.I.R. piping will be in the way. On the passenger side, the fuel line and solonoid will be in the way. A little fanageling will be needed to get it in.
I had a set of LS7 spark plug wires laying around and they fit & look nicely.

Dude, it's simple. Painfully simple.
1. Go to the junk yard.
2. Find a GM truck or SUV with a GEN III 6.0 motor. It's been mentioned several times in this thread that these are the vehicles that have the D585 coils.
3. Confirm that is has the coils with the heat sinks like in the many pictures in this thread.
4. If you are still confused, try to recall the we have said multiple times in this thread that the right coils are the only ones with their own heat sink.
I don't know if it could be any clearer.

This isn't true. Some trucks will have the "square" truck coils, and some will have the aforementioned truck coils with the heat sinks on top, that appear oval in shape. It dosn't matter the year, GM just put either style on the truck when it got down the assembly line, seems like there was no rhyme or reason as to which truck got what. Whatever truck coils you get, make sure you get the matching plug wires also, as they are different lengths for each truck coil, and also different than the LS1 and LS2 wires.

I have some LS2 coils off a TB SS with all the harnesses and brackets and would like to know if these are better than LS1 coils? I have LS1 coils on my LS4. I can't find and data on the differences. I wish I could see a side by side comparison. I thought LS2 coils were supposed to be more effecient and provide better ignition...??? Thanks for any help.
This is what I see...
LS1 = Good
LS2 = Much better
LS2 w/ Heat Sinks = Best

I had laying around a set of NIB GM LS7 spark plug wires, red with 90 degree boots when I did my swap. They fit perfectly.
About which coil. It's also been called "LS2 truck coils." Also look at 6 Liter Express/Savana vans for them. You might also find them on 8.1 Liter L18 engined trucks.
If the coils you find do not look like any of these, it's NOT the coil to use:

The Accel version (140040):

I was referring to STOCK wires. The STOCK wires have different lengths for the different coils and brackets, and will not reach / or be too long if coils are interchanged without using the appropriate wires. Im sure there are a ton of different wires to use that fit, was only referring to factory pieces

The LS2 style coils (D514) are better than the LS1 style and the D585s are even better...And as already mentioned not all 6.0s used the D585s you just have to go look...I've pulled them off of 5.3s...Like I said just have to go look...Anyways I'm back and have 4 sets that need to go...

I am interested as well. Let me know $... I'll get it right to ya if it includes all the harnesses and brackets. If you accept PayPal send me an invoice to mgpeagle@hotmail.com and I will send the money out later on tonight.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which truck engines got these coils. When trying to order replacement coils from GM or the aftermarket, you need to visually identify which coils you have.
It's like GM used whatever coils were available during the vehicle build.
One thing is for sure: No passenger cars ever came with them from the factory.
