wouldn't you think that this 102mm would be way to big for your 346ci motor? I can understand using these on your 400+ ci motors, but this gets to the point where bigger inst always better.

I know you don't have to run 102mm on the intake, but since you have the ls3 intake you have the rectangular style heads which means you have a 4+ inch bore to accommodate the extra air intake that a 346 may not be able to handle. That's all I'm saying there is no doubt that this intake will work extreme good for some applications, but when does bigger become to much?

Looks like a thing of beauty. Should have no problem fitting in an F-body, now this one I'm not sure about:

Saw that sucker on a Grand Am Daytona Prototype when they came down to Homestead Miami Speedway.

I agree, when is bigger always better? Some people do not always want the biggest, baddest setup, but something more refined, and more efficient for driving around town all day. Throw one of these intakes and a set of 1 7/8 headers on an otherwise stock 346 Ls1 and IMO, that would be a total dog down low. Who wants a car that drives like a mustang?
I can see the potential for a bigger cubed motor like mentioned above or at least a nice sized cam and some ported and flowed heads on top the 346 but honestly, when is the size going to stop growing? WHEN WILL IT END?
Options now once all 90/92mm are sold will be Ls6 78mm or just all the way to 102mm? Seems like a big gap to have to jump if you dont want to get into single planes and sheet metal, etc.

Since this is replacing the last of the 90/92 units out there, what other option is there for cathedral port guys? The 78mm piece? Or are you going to stop carrying their line altogether? If this doesn't live up to your standards, it isn't like there will still be 92mm FAST intakes out there for sale (except by those that already bought them while they were still being manufactured).
