How to make LS6 intake fit?

How to make LS6 intake fit? If I grind the fins off the bottom of the intake will it fit with my factory coolant lines? I am afraid if you block off the back of the heads you won't get enough water flow and run hot.I just spent alot of money on a set of heads and don't want to burn anything up.

gm stopped doing it with the z06's so why would you think the heads are gonna get hot? I swap coolant crossovers to just the front all the time and never had this issue, but yes if you grind the bottom of the ls6 fins it will fit
I "tapped" my coolant lines with a dead blow mallet just for good measure. Some stick up higher than others. Just make sure the intake is setting on the heads and not the lines when you reinstall.
