Default SLP Lid + Bellows Results on DYnolicious (iphone)

Well I just snuck out and it was dead so I decided to just stick the iphone on the mount and blast a run off. I'm trying to find some dynolicious runs from last year when the car was stone stock but I usually use the same spot and just use em for fun comparisons.

Todays run definitely showed a bump in HP reading on two consecutive runs. In an entire year it has never showed the HP readings I got tonight. SO perhaps I was wrong and a Lid did give me a 10 hp bump or so.

Here's a run from a week or two ago. I did let off early as I'm used to the vette blasting through the traps still in 3rd at 7500 + rpms so it isn't a complete run.

What I am really comparing here is the MAX HP since the first run I let off early. The second run I had no traction in 1st so I shifted early. No powershifting I was just trying to speed shift to preserve the stock clutch.

1st run : Max Hp 314 (Free ram air, K&N Corsa)

2nd run : Max Hp 332 (Addition of SLP Lid + Bellow)

Previous bests before these were 306 HP when the car was Stone stock just tuned up with fresh plugs wires and a K&n.

Just for reference (trying to dig up old runs from my pc)

Stone stock the week I bought it HP: 293,297 (remember struggling to hit 300)

K&N, NGK plugs + Msd Wires : 306

Free ram air Mod + Corsa : 313,314

SLP Lid + Smooth Bellow : 332, 332 (same on 2 last consecutive runs)

All runs done on same stretch of road. Coming up in a few weeks will be Long tubes + 3 " ory + tune runs. I will try to head to the track to get some timeslips for the before/after Header results.

you should throw it on a dyno and see how it compares to the app. dyno days runs are usually like 75 bucks for 3 runs. numbers dont seem too far off i just dont see how it could work lol.

Dynos can vary just as much as this app can if not more. 75 bucks is too much for an almost stock car. I think the important thing is the consistent gain in g's, hp and mph show there's been a little improvement. Of course mph at the track Is the best way to see gains.

Unless you're trying to baseline for future information how well each change performs.

Dyno can be very useful for basically stock cars. For some reasonw hen i had my V tuned they did a baseline and found that it was running pretty damn lean for a basically stock car, CAI and muffler delete......Not to mentiona dyno tune with those mods netted me 33rwhp with just those mods and then they tuned it on spray.
