avoid driving in the rain and don't drive in a puddle or you might just suck up a lot of water and hydrolocking equals engine death

That's a good idea! But I don't drive my z in the rain. It's a weekend toy. Sits in the garage untill the weekends. If the weather is nice.

With the non AC version you guys will need to cut the V support under the hood latch that runs to the lower radiator support rail. Not much response in this thread in regards to looking into a group buy. I'm gonna just go ahead and order mine as I am definatley buying this kit. FTRA in the for sale section soon lol.

I was interested in this considering it seems much more effective than a ram air hood, cheaper, and i don't think it would be hard at all to make yourself either, but thinking about it i don't want the intake for the engine drawing from that close to the ground, let alone water which is bad enough, seems like dust and other **** will get sucked in all the time meaning more air filter replacements and such, pulling the a.c is kinda crazy if its your daily driver summer time anyways. Still a good idea though since it does gain, not the best though IMO

yes we can look into a GP

no issues with rain unless you are going to drive in actual puddles

I would recommend not driving with the extension if the car is lowered. We have tried with and without at the track and seen no difference. The bad things is it's not a very good test as our track is very busy and it was not a back to back run.

We have seen no temp changes with cars we have done and no issues reported from customers. There is just a little modification need as JFM noted to make the non-A/C KIT fit.

how many people would be in for a GP @ 10% off and FREE shipping within the lower 48?
