So is there actually an A/C one or does this not really exist? Can I be included in the GP?

I called and made payment this morning it was 179.99. Probably saving about 35.00 in total here not bad. We need nine more paid units. I'll keep a running tally in my post on the previous page.

Boy you would have to drive thru a fairly deep and large puddle to ingest enough water to penetrate the filter and hydrolock a piece up.

I'm currently running a FTRA, I saw zero gains, is this one better than the ftra? If so, how?

Pick one up and install and see for yourself. this kit works period. Its the size of this non a/c unit and the install sealing everything off so the car pulls air only from down low ie colder air. Cant go wrong with this kit.

If anyone doubts this kit.....i can attest that i picked up 2mph in the quarter. IAT's are on average 10 degrees cooler with the kit. It works plain and simple. No issues with driving in the rain either. Use common sense with standing water.

They all work the same way. It's like buying a lid. One might be a minuscule amount better than the next but you'll never know the difference.

Car has LPP headers and ory,slp lid, ported tb, magnaflow cb, and 108K miles. I can tell you the car runs better than most cam only cars on hp.

incorrect you will see gains over a ftra...this intake is 2.5 times the size of a ftra...on my car when I was stock internal gained 1.2 mph over a ftra...I will gaurantee at least 1mph over a ftra, just think what the gains would be cam only or heads cam...please don't respond unless you have tried the ram air...

my car gained 2.7 mph over a stock setup cam only...

thanks for all the props guys...

JFM keep us updated on the results and da conditions...I know your car is gonna rip...
I've seen 2 mph gains with an FTRA on a near stock car. Yours has a bigger opening and is probably slightly better but it's not worth switching from one to the other. If they don't have one then by all means get the better one first.

I'm in for a GP. But i can't make a payment over the phone until Saturday. Unless there's a way to make a payment over the web.

Does anyone have any more details about the modification necessary to make the "non-AC" version work?

Speed Inc. let me know if there is a way for me to pay over the WWW. Thanks!

I agree ith chris on this if you have not tried the chrs1313 ram air then dont say it doesnt work. I have seen it gain personaly over the ftra kit more then 1MPH and have not seen it gain less then 2mph on any of my buddies or my car for that matter with the chrs1313 kit. all the cars im refering to are cam only stock heads cars.

yes..sorry we do not have a pic online. The A/C is a bit more involved to make so it is more expensive.

+ $15 , so $194.99
