What's the consensus on intake manifold styles?
I'm trying to figure out which way would be the best to go on intake manifold style for my street '00 Z.
A traditional 90/90 setup
or
A single plane EFI setup (small cowls are an option)
I'll be doing my own independent research, but if anybody else has done any and would like to share I would greatly appreciate it

Telling us your engine is a "Street" engine isn't nearly enough info to be able to help you. Give us a rundown of what a "Street" engine is.
The general consensus is that elbows on these car KILL power, so stick with the 4150 style throttle body or the traditional plastic manifold and use a FAST 102mm.

For now It's just going to be a bolt on vehicle with the factory LS1. Nothing fancy. Looking for a setup that will play the nicest with a heads / cam job when that time comes.
So the consensus is - stick with a 90 or 102mm setup and avoid a single plane / elbow setup because the elbow kills the power.

I went from a stock setup with bolt-ons to a BBK intake and 80mm TB. I noticed a slight loss in bottom end (still smoke em for 100yrds) but a good improvement in the mid range and top end.. Then went to a Victor Jr. Aarons elbow and a FAST 90mm TB and had no loss anywhere except an increase in top end. To each his own. Different setups will produce different results.
