I have the Shaner S3. It is a piece of art. It is ported nicely and gives u a seat in the pants difference IMO.

The Shaner S3 is great for a 6 speed car. It makes a difference when u nail it from a roll. The car pulls harder with that TB. I hope this helps.

I guess the S2 would be better for a stalled A4 then?

The S3 is ported more than the S2. The S2 works better on A4 cars, while the S3 is better suited for M6 cars. *Not a sponsor*

Thanks Mike for the insight! What made you decide between Shaner and Bauer?

I e-mailed Brett Buaer and he was out of cores to make the TB's. I then contacted Mark Shaner we spoke for a while, he's a great guy and his product is great also.

When I first met Mark Shaner, he spent a couple of hours with me ON THE PHONE talking with me about his throttle bodies. Since then I have bought throttle bodies for four different cars from him and they have NEVER failed to give me great measurable performance. I have even gone by his place and he has ATAP'ed cars for me so we could see exactly the difference his throttle bodoes were making on the tuning. He never seems to be happy unless you are happy so what more could you ask for really????
