I know right! If I didn't live in Hawaii I would have ordered it already. Shipping just kills me out here.

There seems to be a bunch of speculation on this setup, but I'm wondering, would this work with non-Kooks headers? Like Hooker or TSP?

^ you could fab it to work with other headers but you'd be getting rid of the driver side piece the pass side goes straight in I've got arh headers and going to see how and if it will work should work kooks and arh are very similar.

Also tomor im making my kooks dual go into my cme tip kind of dumb going from 3inch to 2 1/2 inch to the tip but if it wont work ill just weld turndowns off the mufflers and mount the cme tip as a dumby like before when I had the sts turbo on. Ill post some pics n vids too

You own a 454 LSX and can only muster up one giant fragmented sentence? And better yet, you are asking for car advice.....(so I am assuming English isn't your native language, but with a monster of a car like that, you can at least speak car)

Cats would mellow it out, as would any bullet muffler. Come on

Got my new Kooks duals and LTs in today And i have to say this is one of the finest built systems ive ever seen good looking clean welds with proprer color distortion from the welding processe everything is fitting together flawlessly The duals came with and the stainless clamps and hangers needed this thing is just beautiful

Cant wait to it tomorrow and see if it sounds as good as it looks

x2!! Stunning finish on this stuff. Just got mine as well. Matched it up with a set of their 2" LTs too for a little added "sound"

So, what has everyone been doing about the over the axel part on this setup with the heat sheilds? have you guys took them off and replaced them with somthing? or just left them off completly.. this includes the gas tank sheild, need some suggestions on this... this system has been kicking my *** nothing is lineing up on it and i have been adjusting and tweeking for awhile now, big point that its hitting on is the x pipe on the driveshaft loop that comes with this setup, and the tips dont line up at all on the driverside

I took the heat shields off (over the axle one), including the gas tank shield, and replaced with DEI Floor & Tunnel shield (http://www.designengineering.com/cat...und-insulation).

Don't know if it was necessary but it sure made my install easier.
