Most people are buying from Maryland Speed so I'm thinking them with a package. I'm tempted to sell my TSP headers and get this system so I don't have to worry about a shop fabbing me up a system, even though I want an H pipe.

yes call them and tell them justin told you it was 2000 with 1 7/8 headers, kooks true duals with no cats, bmr dsl, gm exhaust manifold gaskets, and 02 extensions for 2000 for the final price. i also go the single 4inch tips instead of quad 4 inch tips.

Get the kook great fit and moderate tone and idle(no cam) but gun it and its sounds like open headers. The best part the sound on the inside is pretty much like stock.

I got quoted 1700 for the just the exhaust, dsl, and panhard(no headers). Looks like you got an awesome deal.

I wish they would produce this kit for lt1 cars. I got a 97 with their headers and would love to put this exhaust on it.

I'm sure that any good exhaust shop could get it to work, pretty much everything would be the same except for where it attaches to the headers and the exhaust shop could fab up the links.

How does it sound w/o cats? Any rasp? I will be ordering my kit in the next couple of weeks and am still wondering whether to go catless or catted. My car is a mild H/C/I.

damn man.. i want this

i must say.. i am surprised how expensive most ppl think it is, 2k for the full system with those headers,

when i bougth my system, (coated pacesetters,ORY,and LM1) back in 06 it was almost half the price of the true dual.. and its so not half of the system

Here is a quick vid of the kooks exhaust system installed on my ride...

1 7/8 kooks headers
Non catted true duals w/ single tips
SLP Lid & CAI
1.85 rockers/ 918 springs
ported tb
fti 3800 stall
3.73 gears

overall Im happy with it! Although I dont really care for how the tips stick out about .5- 1" from the bottom of the bumper. Basically the tips are almost flush with the top of the bumper. It would take some cutting and rewelding to make the tips flush, imo it was not worth all that extra work so its staying as is. I also needed to machine spacers for the crossmember/safety loop brace as the washers included were not even close. Oh and if you order the non catted version, kooks still welds rear o2 bungs in the x,, but does not include the bung plugs?? I had to spend another 24.00 on the bung plugs but it was still worth every penny!!

Just got mine in yesterday, took 6 weeks. I haven't weighed it out of the package yet but it just may be lighter than my kooks y-pipe and GMMG.

Pics or it didn't happen!

J/K. Did you go with or without cats? Interested in your opinion of sound and please let us know if there is rasp if you went without cats.
