oil breather element, yes or nah??

Default oil breather element, yes or nah??

i was told that pluging the oil vacumm lines n putting a oil breather element would give me free hp on my ls1? t or f and if so which oil vacumm lines do i need to plug to be able to put an oil breather element??, r they the one on the left valve cover only or what?

so waste of time to do or what?, i was told it would give u like maybe 4 to 5 hp, but guess not.

To elaborate, the PCV system used engine vacuum to evacuate the crankcase, which causes some nasty gases to get sucked out. By merely venting to atmosphere, you don't have a vacuum pulling the gases out, which makes it a much less efficient means of removing said gases.

that's cause this issue has been addressed numerous times already. If you want more details, do a search on "pcv" or maybe breather and you'll find plenty of details. The search will do WONDERS for you... USE IT

lol ive been researching it n some say yes some say no n well just though i would ask here since its ls1tech n got my question answered by one friendly person already but thanks for the advise partner

i have breather on my drivers side valve cover, but just because i wanted to clean my engine bay up by pulling the stock PCV
