Not scared, just not very excited that you spend over 1k just for parts that won't cooperate with each other. I don't want to grind on the polished water pump but if I have to I will. We'll see!

^ My buddy had to grind at his TB "cam" to clear the EWP on an LS6 intake and stock TB. We'll see how that works out.
And they're not called "Modifications" for nothing. hink of what some guys go through just to install headers. Griding or cutting at the block. I had to cut my block for the LS6 PCV. The car did NOT want to be ground or cut on. It ate two dremels.
I take it you're in Iraq? My buddy is almost at the end of his 1 yr over there. In Camp Taji I think, working with IASF.

I used an LS2 waterpump on my LS1 and the TB cleared, no grinding was needed. There are a few different LS2 pumps, the one i used has the same pulley on the front as the LS1.

Right now my engine is on the stand waiting to be installed. Has everyone had problems with the fast intake bolts coming loose? Mine is a fresh build and everything was clean but if the fast bolts are a problem I would rather change them now than have to do it in the car. I wonder if the problem is because they are stainless and expansion rates on the aluminum head and bolts are different.

You guys with the long FAST bolts coming loose....are you torquing them to Comp's spec's out of curiosity??
Crewchief....you may have zero clearance issues with the Meziere electric pump.....dont get to frantic about it. At the end of the day this is what you have to do to pull the Mustang in the next lane by a car or two instead of looking at his black out effect tail lamp kit!
I would rather be grinding on my water pump....

Good deal.. I was a 6yr SSgt CES/RED HORSE pavements in Bagram from 05-06. 6 months on TOP of a month in training and a month in transit. Bought a transmission from T56 Rebuilds, clutch, susp, wheels and tires for the car when I got back. And a 95 F150, IIRC. Got MEB'd in 08. I miss it bad.
