Thanks. That's my next step if I'm still not happy with it after the powerstick.

Well my powerstick came in and I was able to do a side by side comparison with the SSworks muffler. I was actually going to try both on the car to see which sound I liked best but after seeing the difference in the flowpath, I'm not even going to bother. The SSworks chokes down to about 2.25" ID!!! Check out the pics.

I think it's really a disgrace to see how much the SSworks necks down.... I mean why have a 3" inlet and then neck it down so far. But anyway, I just wanted to post these pics to help others thinking about the same thing.

Oh, and it kills me not to have a stainless muffler but the flow restriction is just not worth it. I'll be sending it back very ASAP.

Well, I just ordered the 3" diameter, 21" long "short powerstick" to try and fix my rasp issues. Fingers crossed this works!

My setup is listed below:

Edelbrock 1.75" to 1.875" stepped headers
TSP ORY
Borla Catback

Well I got mine on and there's still a tad bit of rasp even with the long powerstick. I ended up cutting my kooks ory and gmmg I-pipe. No one around has mandrel bender.

I can't wait to cut out my SLP resonator (bought the car w/ it) & install a 3026sb. It is next after I install my new dif & Bilsteins next weekend. Then I will post before & after vids b/c there are none on the net stock ls1 w/ oe cats & a 3" catback.
