I absolutely think there is something to be said about being courteous to your neighbors.

Just run it in high gear until you get away from the neighborhood.

Bitch across the street was calling the sheriff on me
repeatedly after I ignored her bitching about noise in
the evenings. But they eventually told her to quit
bugging them since vehicles are exempt from noise
ordinances. They didn't even ever make me fire it up
to check. And I still have the stock (SLP CME) muffler.

Some people just can't be made happy, some don't
deserve to be made happy, and others cost too much
to do it.

Somebody says "you don't have to rev it", you back
right up, tell them "just so you know, this is what a
rev sounds like", and educate them. Then they will
be a lot happier about what you're not doing daily.

Are you sure it's not u whos getting sick of the noise??? If I were satisfied with my exhaust....It wouldn't matter what the neighbors think.....I would feel for them....but by no means I would'nt change my setup because of them....

yeah i agree, it took me awhile to get the sound i wanted, y pipes just suck on these cars, i had almost every catback and i just wasnt happy with them, first drive with the tsp duals i was in love, if it was a dd it would get a lil old but honest its perfect, i love the gas smell, and the sound, i also picked up a pretty solid gain with my setup over the y pipe,

Well like I said, it's when I first start the car that I think it would bother them. I leave my house really early in the mornings, and although I do have another daily driver, sometimes I like to drive the SS.

I just know it would **** me off to be woke up that early in the morning and I would probably never say anything about it.

My neighbors are going to hate the **** out of me when my new build is done. But then again, I don't give a ****. They're all much older people with their kids driving past my house at all hours blasting their systems.

My car is loud as **** and if my ******* neighbor complained, I'd simply tell him that I have to watch his 400 pound fat *** transfer himself from his Huvaround to his lawnmower, so I think we're even.

For being courteous? Come on, give me a break. I love my loud exhaust, but I am courteous to my neighbors and would consider if they complained and said it was too loud.

Get two chambers and make peace with your neighbors. I am pushing it with a GMMG and ORY. I had two different dual setups before and personaly see no difference at the track. My engine is built ( MS3,TF220s) and every supporting mod. Its a personal preference if you want dual exhaust. Add some magnaflow ovals like a 18-24 inch long muffler. Flows great and only sacrifice sound.

Yeah, I'm courteous too, but there's a limit, and that's where I draw the line. If the loud exhaust makes you happy, then to hell with them. That's the problem with society today. We are always trying to please everyone else and men these days are acting like ******* women. What's next, you going to change the color or the car because your neighbor doesn't like it, or change out the headlights because they are too bright. Give me a ******* break.

I would either try and make peace first or take the other DD before changing my setup.

Jesus ******* Christ, your statement is utterly retarded.

Yes, some how you're emasculated for being conscious of others.
Please, hit yourself in the face with a tack hammer.
