What the hell is this from leaking TB gasket? blown head gasket? When i take off the radiator cap i see an intermittent stream of small bubbles. If i shake/squeeze the TB tube it lets out a stream of them then stops for a while.

This car is untouched stock Ls1 intake/TB, no loss of fluid that i've noticed.
Over heated once, but that was a stuck thermostat which has been taken care of. This condition was present before the thermostat took a **** though.
I'll be changing the TB gasket to see if that fixes it.

If the coolant level drops or the car struggles to stay cool then its a head gasket or cracked head/block issue. Otherwise, it could be the system purging itself of air.

Nope it stays dead on 200-210 degrees no matter how long it sits at idle and during southern California stop and go traffic.
I'll keep checking the coolant level though just to keep an eye on it.

As has already been stated, the throttle body gasket has absolutely nothing to do with sealing the steam vent - the coolant stays internal to that passage in the throttle body. If the gasket was a part of that system, you'd have coolant going everywhere every time you took the throttle body off of the manifold, but it doesn't.
Bubbles are fairly normal when first bleeding the system, although they should decrease dramatically once the system is bled. If you had air pockets, it'd likely be reflected with increased coolant temps, but yours are normal. Aside from keeping an eye on the level, I wouldn't worry about it.

i saw my car doing that once..when it was cool at start up, when water comes from TB return, it looks like air bubbles but i think its just water rushing thru the return line..my car never over heats. i wouldnt worry about it. just keep an eye on water level and temp. gauge.
