I just bought the Vengeance racing wires 26-30 ohms resistance. The Taylor thunderbolt 50 10mm wires were on my car several years we're 300+ ohms resistance. The quality is great and i've always had good results dealing with VRD.

26-30 is pretty good! You should notice some better engine response.

I'll gladly attest to Granatelli Motor Sports wire's quality. I won't buy or use anything else.

I have bad luck with Taylor wires... Got msd and never had an issue. MSD's have about 50000 miles on a H/C car making 450rwhp.

My Taylor 10.5's have been on for 8 years and still working fine.

Some are lucky. It's less of a problem with LS engines as they're pretty short.

Run the engine in the dark looking at the wires. Rev the engine. Arcing/glowing?

Still no issues with my Granatelli's after a full summer of hard track use. They havent deformed or become loose like my previous very crappy set of msd's that barely last me a year and a half.I sold my old msd wires for a mere $20.Plug wires dont make power..they just help dictate how efficient a motor runs..better efficiency can result in more power.

I've heard good things about the Vengance wires but I think the Granatelli wires have the edge.

Yes. This is something I do time to time. I also spray them down with water with spray bottle while it's running from time to time. Old tricks learned from my cam head uncles long ago.

(Directed towards our friends LS1tech forums members Formallyknownas_Stig and granatelli_sales)

It was brought to my attention by another member that a warranty claim for a spark plug wire purchased in 2012 was refused.

I do see that wire sets are no longer covered by a lifetime warranty (from the website):

" Ignition coil packs and ignition wires purchased directly from Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. or an authorized reseller / distributor have a limited one year warranty from the date of purchase as of May, 5 2014 (05/05/2014)."

Could you please clarify, do wire sets purchased when the original lifetime warranty was offered BEFORE the warranty policy change on 05/05/2014 still carry a lifetime warranty? Or have they lost their lifetime warranty?

(This was addressing Granatelli Motor Sport's response in the other thread. -PB)

I'll post this here too,

"After the second time of having some of the wires warrantied for the metal crimp ends separating from the wires I threw them away and went back to MSD wires. Yes I was removing the wires correctly but it didn't matter.

I've removed dozens of sets if not hundreds of OEM wires w/ 50k+ miles on them that didn't break but after 3k miles I had four of your wires break?

I know you advertise your wires gain power over OEM wires but I saw absolutely zero gains over my MSD's on the dyno, back to back runs, everything being the same.

The only thing nice about your wires are the heat sleeves...that's it."

I rarely, rarely ever bash a product, sponsor or part. After replacing four Gran' MAF's and my plug wire experience I will never buy anything from them and tell that to everyone I know.
