I tried reading through this thread and it's interesting to say the least. i recently put on a 102, NW 102 TB (MAFless) and BBK rails. I was told the 102 wouldn't work with green tops (FWIW I was near maxing out my stock LS1 injectors, +85%, with just cam/headers), I was told it was too big, I was told it was hard to tune and drive.
Turns out the green tops fit right in with minor dremeling the edges of the mani adjacent to the injectors. Tuning was nearly non-existent in the low end. I had to touch my RAF idle table. In the high end I had to add fuel everywhere as it was nearly 5% lean indicating more air. Driving in stop and go I really don't notice any changes. Stepping on the loud peddle tho had my stage 3 clutch slipping a little in third gear and my hemorrhoidal butt dyno says I picked up a bunch of HP over my LS6/80mm. Having a GTO I had no issue with the water pump. The only hiccup was I had to tap my front steam pipe down a bit to clear the TB. I checked the match to ports with the top off and it was almost a perfect match to my ported/milled 243 heads. I'll be heading to the dyno in a couple of weeks and we'll see but having driven this car for 8 years I'd be amazed if I hadn't picked up quite a lot.
