Default my 2 cents

Will if the mods listed are the only things you have done. I would go with a set of headers first and then a cam. Pending if you do some of the work your self and save some cash a cat-back exhaust would not hurt.

You could do the header and cat-back install your self and with out tuning the car well run. If you put in an after market cam the car will most likly require some retuning via ls1-edit. If you have some where close to take it a Dyno-tune with ls1-edit would be best for preformance.

I appreciate all the help. This is the first LS1 car ive done.Everything else has been older cars. What would be a good nitros cam with the headers and catback. On a m6 car cant you drill the hole in your throttlebody out a little bigger when you install a bigger cam or does that not really help.

A good nitro cam? If you want a good power adder cam but yet can drive the car daily I'd go with Comp cams 224/228 .581 lift 112 lsa being you have a m6. I don't know where you live but if you live in the Mid-west I'd recommend Ls1Speed Inc. They installed my cam and intake (i installed my headers and Cat back before they got the car) and dyno-tuned on site. I've been driven the car daily and have not had any problems. If you go to there web site and look under valvetrain Comp Cams Xtreme RPM grinds the cam I'm running and recommend for you is CC-custom5. I'd highly recommend while your having work done also install a new blueprinted oil pump, double roller timing chain, Pacaloy springs, chromemoly pushrods, and Titanium retainers. This well add a few hundred dollars but is cheap insurance if you drive the car spiritedly. You also can get this cam and services from many other shops just go to the sponsors on the right and find the nearest shop to you. Drilling out the TB hole does help with the cars idle with a after market bigger cam. LS1Speed drilled mine out while installing the cam.

If your looking for a nitrous cam that will give you awesome NA power, go with the TSP 231/237. Good for 400+ RWHP NA with full boltons and it loves the spray.

You're going to need a rearend soon, cause I can't imagine the stocker is going to last to much longer with the power your making.

If I where you and had the 2 grand laying around I'd probably invest in a 12 bolt or 9".
