Default Taylor wires suck r MSDs better?

I've had it! I have newish Taylor wires and I've had several problems already. I just had the plastic sleeve on the coil plug just disintegrate.

Anyone changed to MSD wires and like them better?

MSD's are better.. Taylors are a one time use wire. I've been thru a set as well.

Both seem the same. We sell a lot of Taylor with no issues.

To your question, yes, MSD wires are better than Taylor wires.

I'll add to that: The nicest & best wires I've used is from Granatelli Motorsports. Buy em' once! Lowest resistance, your engine will respond better.

Thanks guys, I thought so. Thing is I've used Taylors since LT1 days, just tired of evertime I take off a set 1 or 2 has an issue. My set is about 3 months old in a stock exh! Its not stock as of today. I even have a new set on my Mustang and one burned in like 60 miles and its 2 inches from the pipe.

Taylor wires are horrible. Everything I try to take one off it's like they're glued on there, and when it finally comes off the metal tabs come apart from the wire. I'd go wit the MSD wires.

All eight of my 8.5mm MSD superconductor wires measured less than 26 ohms resistance...they've also held up very well being so close to my long-tubes.

I had a set of Taylors on my old car for over 5 years...very good quality and held up fine to multiple plug changes. However in recent years the quality seems to have diminished and people have alot of issues even with new sets. I have MSD wires on my new car and they are great!

I've had both, MSD is way better. I've broken many Taylor wires.

Had both also, had msd universal wires on a hot running 9,000 pound work truck w gen 1 350. Changed a few plug boots once in a while in the same spots, but wires took a good beating in a bad environment for 8 years AFTER sitting in a box for a few years being pulled off another engine with several years of use already.

Funny thing about them Taylor wires: One in ten who use them have no problems and love them. The other nine on the other hand.....

Another vote for the Firecore wires. Best set of wires I've run.

Ive used multiple sets of both brands as well, and the MSD wires due seem to hold up a bit better.

I had a Taylor Thundervolt wire come apart on me,
my MSDs haven't. LS2 wires, the header primary
eventually cooked the boot until it disintegrated
because it had no choice but to sit against the tube.
