Default Mufflex 4" Magnaflow vs Corsa vs GMMG

I have searched alot and also checked out LS1sounds but still cant get solid answers. I currently have a GMMG with the GMMG oval tips with Kooks LTs and a Catted Y. I have been thinking about changing my exhaust setup to either a CORSA CME setup or the Mufflex 4" with a Magnaflow pipe, and wanted to get other guys thoughts and experiences. The only thing I don't like about the Corsa is you cant seem to get it without the high dollar tips! The car has a Vengeance VRX camshaft.
Thanks in advance!

I switched from Magnaflow cb to Mufflex 4" with Mag muffler. Car sounds great and no drone (with or without cats)

Do not go Corsa, they sound raspy as hell and the f body mufflers tend to fall apart quickly

Love my Mufflex setup. I got it after seeing/hearing it on my buddies cammed LS2 T/A. I switched from TSP TD's to the mufflex setup and couldn't be happier. I loved the Td's, but like the mufflex for the clearance and it is not so "in your face" as the TD's were.

i've run the corsa for 5-6 years with no issues. it's definately not a sleeper system. it's loud & raspy but still sounds good. i went from factory to corsa so i can't speak for the others.

Thank you guys for the info. My car is lowered on Stranos so clearance can be an issue. With the Kooks Catted y pipe wouldI be wasting space/money on the 4" vs 3.5"? Does anyone have any clips of the magnaflow mufflex with cam and Catted y?

That video I posted when I first got the exhaust is terrible and I've been saying I'd get a better one for years. Here's a quick idle shot done on my phone. The sound quality is pretty good and that's pretty much all you need to have hah.

If you're considering Corsa you might as well spend a few hundred more and get Kooks True Duals. Sell your GMMG and Kooks Y-pipe and call it a day.

I have the mufflex 3.5" with magnaflow muffler. It doesnt drone and is really loud when you get on it. I actually purchased the flowmaster 30 that fits in its place, had it on there for a day and sold it.

I thought about the Kooks setup, but I have heard reviews of poor fitment. If I did that I would drive to them and have them fab it up with a CME. Anyone hear the Kooks Setup?
I emailed mufflex today and they told me that I am right on the edge of needing a 4" system. What I am concerned about is the 4" with a lowered car. I am not a fan of aluminized piping that is Mig welded.

No love for Borla? Ive had quite a few different exhausts on my cars over the years including Magnaflow,Mufflex (Spintech) & Corsa. While they sound and look good, I prefer the adjustability of the Borla and a DMH cutout. Loud when you want it, and then at the flip of a switch, quite when you want it. Just thought id throw that out there. Goodluck with whatever you decide, but Borla hands down get my vote.

Magnaflow with a QTP 3" Electric Cutout would give a best of both worlds. Magnaflow flows very well upto like 470rwhp and is quiet. The cutout would provide more flow if needed and more volume (crack it a little or a lot). It's also 3" and stainless and is cheap. But I'm not sure it's an upgrade to the GMMG.

Keep the GMMG. Corsa falls apart. The Mufflex system is overkill for you. Vengeance made 524rwhp through a stock SLP Dual/Dual exhaust. GMMG has to flow about as well or better.

The Dual Dual is the exhaust I am kicking myself for taking off! Had I known then what I know now it would still be on the car but with a tig welded CME on it! Dont get me wrong I love my GMMG and could possibly convert it to a CME. It just seems soo heavy!
