i just got the new f.a.s.t. intake in the mail today "finally"after ordering it 3 weeks ago from tbyrne ...and there is no gasket for the t.b. whats the deal im going to use the 90 mm tpis setup for the corvette ....where do i get a gasket ????you would think if you payed 860.00 for an intake they would give you a little gasket ....it didnt even have the gaskets for the intake runners i had to pull those out of my stock intake ....talk about cheap bastards....

Nothing is free including gaskets. You might want to think about getting the Fast TB, it dos`nt look that bad. It has that small 1/8 inch gap in order to have the breather line( which the TPIS dos`nt have). If you look in the PCM section there is a thread on tuning the 90 TBs and the really good tuners on this board are having lots of problems getting the TPIS 90s to idle. My FAST 90 works good no tuning issues and made 18 HP but 0 tq on a 382 all bore.

U LUZ,I would have thought the gasket would come with it for the price or at least be told you need one.

Mine came with the 90mm gasket for the TB. It was in the bag with the hardeware. You can on line order the gaskets from Thunder, no phone call should be needed.

TByrne had the intakes and TBs for 10% off in the month of March you could`ve saved some good $ . Mike Norris( Norris Motorsprts) gave me the same deal. When you buy ported heads $1500-$3000 you buy the gaskets seperate, headers $500-$800 you buy the gaskets just standard cost.

maybe you should be in contact with the vendor and get your $$ back.. dont take it in the rear and just complain about it.. if i was a vendor i would throw you the 8 buck gasket and probably the intake gaskets just because you were dissatisfied with the purchase.

if it was supposed to come with it just contact the sponsor/vendor and 99% of the time they will ship it right out to you no questions asked...as far as the intake gaskets are concerned, eh well live and learn i guess

As far as the intake gaskets are concerned, it's good to change them every time you pull the intake anyway. I do anyway.
