I've been told 30-45 days. But there's another thread for THAT manifold. I myself have done enough to clutter this one, so let's keep it on track.

The more you guys post the want for a cathedral, the quicker it'll come to fruition.

Very true. I agree, I'm willing to pay as much as what the FAST costs if it does outperform it. But I think if it outperformed the FAST and was 150-200 bucks cheaper then you might even have some owners of the FAST switch over which would be good for MSD. Either way, if it's as good as they claim it is then I'll be selling my BBK.

I'd sell the BBK for a stock LS6...

I'm kidding. I'm not getting into that.

What made you think it wouldn't, and why do you say it's not worth it? LS2 or aftermarket rails can be had for cheap.

Not to divert too far: but out of curiosity, do the LS2 rails simply plug and play? Or is more modification required to get them working?

I'm really curious how the MSD fits compared to the 102. Will there be water pump modifications needed? Need to move the MAP sensor? Will STBs fit? Any special fuel injectors needed?

Then there's the question of does the design hamper low end torque?

It'll be released right around the same time I'll be looking to pull the trigger on heads/cam. I was really considering a Fast 92 to replace my LS6 while I'm in there, but this looks promising too.

I'd hate to spend $1000 to be a guinea pig... Only to find out the marketing and hype don't live up to the promises.

I would expect that this thing is going to fit without the need for modifications. That's why companies do all the R&D before they release something. It wouldn't be good business to market it as a "bolt-on" only to find out that in order to bolt it on, you have to do tons of modifications to make it fit. What I don't get is why someone from MSD hasn't stepped in here and answered some of our questions. Why spend all the time and money developing a new product and then not be proactive in regards to answering potential consumers questions. From what I've gathered from other posts, even when guys on here asked questions in person, they didn't really get any answers.

Kinda the same reason why the ship dates keep getting pushed back. R&D is STILL ongoing.

I myself have called MSD on a few occasions and all I can say is I was left very disappointed after speaking to several VERY unenthusiastic people there.

If the product delivers then good for them and I'll still consider it. But maybe they should also consider having contacts listed that are actually HAPPY to talk to people about what they have to offer.

On a side note - I think they need to rename this intake "Blue *****".

When I was at SEMA, they were really hyped about it, but now, I don't know what's happened.
