Comp makes more than cams; a lot more

I'm just kidding anyway. But you've gotta admit it's really left field for an ignition company to all the sudden want to get in the induction game.

You'd think Edelbrock would have had a polymer hat tossed in the ring by now...

It is interesting the both Edelbrock and Holley have both made cast aluminum manifolds. I would have expected at least one of the "big two" to have gone with a plastic design. MSD actually makes sense. They developed their Atomic EFI system, and these intakes are designed specifically to use it. Kind of a next-step if you ask me.

They do have an intake for the small and big block Chevy. It has the same name as my son, Titan.

Yeah, it may be a long while. Might want to just go with the tried and true FAST 102.

One thing the announcement of the MSD intake did was spur on the people at Vararam. I think they worked some extra hours over the Christmas holidays to get it ready for field testing which they are now in the process of doing.

Too bad the Vararam won't fit an f-body without doing a lot of work.

It would be nice if they made an f-body version. I wonder if they're considering it...

And its polymer. Definitely thinking outside the box on that one.

Well, I'm surprised it's taken this long before someone closed in on the market that FAST has dominated since they developed the first FAST 78 and 90mm intakes. The Vararam intake has definitely peaked my interest. I've kind of given up on the MSD intake.

That is good news. What are the specifications on your car? Will they let you post the results or do they want to digest the information before letting it out? Thank You for stepping up to the plate on this.

Just waiting on a manifold to put it all together. It's either this or a stock LS3.

The Vararam looks like it should have 2 throttle bodies instead of merging into one.

I think the original design for the C6R had 2 throttle bodies. This production version is probably being made with 1 to make it easier to adapt to actual production cars. It would be cool if they offered a race version with dual TB's one day. Guys that care to go through the trouble of making it work might have a good thing on their hands.

I'm running boost, so I need one throttle body, but it would be interesting to see what a pair would do, but packaging would become a logistical issue.
