I don't get it either. It was VERY nonchalant with them, and that was 4 different people, lol. Just... Weird to say the least.

I'm hoping this thing is legit, I personally like this intake over the fast looks wise. It's also nice that FAST might have competition.

I've been waiting for the official "bump" in the ETA dates. You got that from the horses mouth or picked it off the Internet somewhere?

And I agree it is a little disappointing a representative hasn't chimed in here....IMO it would be prudent if they did, especially now that they have pushed the release date back four months. Maybe they feel if its a good as we all hope it doesn't matter.....LOL

Those dates are what Summit lists now.

On Jegs website, months ago, it stated that the product ships today.

To be pushed off until April would mean to me that they haven't even started producing these things yet... Which means they're still in R&D tweaking.

What doesn't make sense is why ALL of the models keep being pushed off, though? You would think if, say, the LS7 intake is good to go, they'd get that going to at least help build hype (assuming they make the gains they claim). That way they can tweak, say, the LS1 design to be ready to ship shortly after.

I wonder if they're having design issues across the board? Or maybe they're just waiting on that CARB certification to come through?

The units shown at PRI and the publicized dyno testing shows the R&D is likely done. So, it's either waiting for CARB to come through so that they can stuff the boxes with stickers with the EO number on it. Or, it's a production problem of some sort.

I think it's going to be funny as hell when this thing never actually makes it to market. I mean, you'd think a multi million dollar business with the name branding and recognition that MSD has would have enough business sense to get out there on the popular LSx boards and start pushing and promoting their product, and answering the masses questions.

Because I was under the impression it was going to work with "stock" rails for ls1s. So factor in that price and the intake price and youre looking at around 1100 bucks to get it setup without a throttle body. I'd like to see more tests before I'd even praise It one bit because I already think it looks absolutely horrendous.

I'd be very curious to hear too.

And it's not like MSD is here to find out you spilled the secret anyways!

I may have my own intake made before the MSD is available. Blue ***** is all I have to say. I'm going to send this thread to MSD, somehow, someway.

Saw that too. What a joke. Thinking about calling MSD and asking them if they have a bunch of high school dropouts running their business.
