Anyone know if this will work with BMR's tunnel mount cross member?
I have meant to get a measurement of how much clearance the tunnel mount needs. I know the stock part won't even come close to working... mainly because of its shape. I plan to make my own. I'll post the specs when I do.
We're all interested in td systems. However, it sounds like you guys are being fairly rigid in what you are willing to offer. That being said, you're exactly right, you're only going to sell this to a few 4th gen fbody guys. The rest of us have our preferred long tubes and aren't willing to take a step back into mid lenght tubes. Sure we can have someone fabricate something but by the time we buy the exhaust from you then pay a fabrincator, I bet we're in Kooks ballpark for a complete system.
Also a really strong point to note, no one is going to sell a new exhaust system/design etc on this site w/o some good quality sounds clips. I'd start there if you really want to sell these things.
This is exactly why I will not purchase this system...I just installed a cam pkg, intake etc and Speed Engineering LT...I don't think ANY of us would switch the headers we are already running just to be able to use this TD set up...If this system would hook up to the headers I already have, or any of the other LT headers out there...then I would

You don't have to run Hooker headers in order to run this system. I had this system slightly modified to fit my TSP 1 7/8 headers.
Thanks Rebel....I finally found it looking at another thread...How loud is this system? I had left a comment on that thread...My Flowmaster 80 series got stupid loud after cam. cat delete and LT...sounded great before that, now its annoying its so loud
On Holley’s web site they are listing two adaptor kits to hook up to LT headers. $119.95 for 409SS and $139.95 for 304SS.
Uh oh, the cat's out of the bag now. The adapters you noticed on the Holley website are for attaching the upcoming new Hooker 4th-gen long tubes to the Hooker dual exhaust systems. There will be new specific exhaust system part numbers being released that attach directly to the new long-tubes and the adapter kits are being offered to allow anyone who's purchased the Blackheart dual system previously to adapted it to the new long-tubes if they so choose to do so. I'll get some photos posted up here as soon as possible to preview the headers.

That's the idea...many guys will continue adapting the Blackheart dual exhaust systems to other brands of long-tubes they already own and I'm certainly good with that. We wanted to provide a complete bolt-in option similar to what's available using the Hooker mid-length headers. Here's an initial image of the prototype set.

Any plans on headers for 93-97 LT1 Camaro/Firebird?
There's nothing on the schedule at this point in time.
Ok, I wish they would. I have Hooker long tubes right now and I'd love to see something like the headers that you posted to give some more ground clearance. There's still a market for the old LT1 cars.

I hear you, it's more a matter of limited time than anything else that keeps us from popping out new headers for many older SB applications that could benefit from it. I hope to see it happen in the future as I for one am still a SB fan.

So, Hooker is now developing a LT header in the Blackheart line, and these adapters will mate the two? What's the impact on ground clearance? I've ordered the midlengths but still awaiting them to be in stock and ship, so if it's worth considering a switch/wait for the LT's I'd like to know. I already have received the TD's that are set to mate to the midlength (70501413-RHKR)
So how much variance is there between all of the long tubes out there? Would ARH, Kooks, or even Blackheart have significant outlet location differences?
