sounds good! Quiet it down at all?

The exhaust sounds great on my 97 LT1 but it is loud and has a drone around 2500-3000.

It fit great with my UMI mid mount TA with the crossmember designed for long tubes.

Default Sound comparison

How would the sound (noise) of this system compare to LT ,ORY and a cat and muffler Delete with exhaust exiting out the back as well

Does anyone have any performance feedback after swapping from a Y-pipe design?
I have a GMMG that I noticed a bit of decrease compared to the Dumps that were on it before. I'm trying to regain some of that without being obnoxious. It looks like I may even be able to run my Spohn crossover.

I just installed the spirals inside the stock muffles but it still is loud. Any actual muffler that calm down the noise. I cannot hear music inside the car.

I would really like to buy this dual exhaust system, but like you, I think it's way too loud. I wish Speed Engineering would offer a quiet muffler option. A dual mode muffler, like the Z06 Corvette or ZL1 Camaro, would absolutely be the best of both worlds.
Whatta ya say SE, can you do that???
John

This is definitely going to be part of my LM7 swap build in my 1994 z28. Original LT1 engine has mild work done to it and s-trim with mid headers, ypipe, off road pipe, SLP loudmouth 1 and it was very loud and I loved it. I pulled into the drive thru at a bank one time and a 75-80 lady walked up to my car and said that’s very neat sounding I couldn’t believe it hahah!! So hoping with my new engine and a blower again and SE true duals over the axle it’s loud to!
