You must have some small hands/arms to fit them down the passenger side. I had to get the rear plug from under the car.

BrntWS6 This will bury the kooks setup as long is fitment is decent. Wish you guys were a little faster to the party though, kooks tds came out what, 5 years ago?

Yeah, kooks are 3K dollars....this kit is 800.00. I would like to see them side by side tho. I know there has to be a difference but what?

Ok I was quiet about this until now. I bought the set last Thursday. It came in last night. After getting it assembled on the ground I was very impressed. So then I start assembling it under the car. Everything was fitting up nicely then I started to clamp it down. The hardware on the band clamps is the trashiest ******* bolts I've ever used in my life. They started to rip the threads out of the bolt and wouldn't get tight enough to cinch the pipe down. So it's midnight and nobody is open I went to bed pissed off. Looked up band clamps and said there is no way I'm spending $15 pet clamp. You would need 10 of them. So after waking up in went up to ace hardware and bought:
10x 3/8 x 16 x 2" bolts
10x 3/8 x 16 nuts
20x 3/8 washers

Reassembled the band clamps and now they work great btw the head on the bolts and the nuts are 14mm so you can get a socket and wrench on them. Total cost? About $10 for all the grade 8 hardware. I called Speed-engineering and told them my findings and suggested they include a zip lock baggie with good grade 8 nuts and bolts. The guy I talked to didn't seem all that interested and said that's what their factory supplies them with.

Oh yeah and I have a Midwest Chassis fab 9" body mount torque arm, driveshaft safety loop, 4" chromoly driveshaft and 4L80e with Rosler Moroso deep pan. It still fits. Will get pics at the exhaust shop.

Good info to have. Wish I would have thought of that before buying 10 new clamps haha.

so everyone is having the actual system fit well and the only real complaint is the clamps? i can get over that with new bolts like sschoeffler did. still trying to decide if there would be room to add/swap mufflers somewhere in the system

The only place you would be putting mufflers is where they are right now. Basically connected to each exhaust tip. The ones that came with the exhaust are 3" in 3" out 12" long from weld to weld. Diameter of mufflers is 5"

For you guys changing out the fasteners on those supplied clamps, I would recommend using interference/crimp type lock nuts as 304SS has a high coefficient of thermal expansion, which may lead to standard non-locking nuts loosening and possibly falling off over time. Genuine Torca clamps are configured with such type nuts for a reason.

Yeah some lock washers would be good. I was also thinking about new nuts/bolts after I looked at the SLP clamps I have. Great minds think alike

is it me or does the links take you to the website with no sign of the exhaust kits. I have a high dollar kooks header/true dual kit with magnaflow mufflers I'm about to install. comparing this to the crazy amount of money i have in the kooks makes me what to try to sell it or something.

I think there is just something wrong with their website right now. I can't get any products to open.

I can't believe how cheap this kit is compared to kooks. It looks like their mufflers are 2 inches shorter than the kooks which makes the swappable mufflers list even smaller. I was planning to switch the oval magnaflow mufflers in my kooks setup but those are the same length as the kooks mufflers. not sure if 2" longer mufflers would work in this kit or not.

My car is at the exhaust shop now. I'll get some pics as soon as it hits the rack. Excited to hear what it sounds like through the turbos.

I dunno if this has been answered but does it fit with floor mount torque arms?
