I did not get a kit with the new clamps then. My clamps I can not get a socket on once they are semi tight, even the thin walled socket wont sit on correctly. At first they looked similar to TSP...but they are not. Unless these are the new clamps...in that case they still are not easy to work with since you cant get a socket on them. I have TSP clamps from my old y pipe, I will take pictures of those and the ones included in my kit.

Like someone else did I will probably just go buy replacement hardware for the clamps. Bummed I have to get the clamps off though.

Texas speed on the right and SE on the left. Bolt heads are to big on the SE. Actually has chewed up my thin wall socket.

Plus tsp clamps you only need 1 wrench for, speed engineering you need to hold one side while tightening the other.

I see a lot of you have been wrapping the left pipe closest to the tank. Has anyone had issues with the exhaust and the plastic tank?

I'm going to wrap it but no adjustment I make keeps it from touching the tank. I also cant wrap the clamp between the two pipes so that will touch the tank.

For those who are using Hooker LTs it does go on and fit quite nicely. Anyone have pics of the under passenger seat hanger installed? Did anyone else have to drill out the factory holes to do the panhard bar relocation kit? Im getting to that point of putting it on. Thanks in advance

Did you ever get the SE true duals to fit your MWC? I have one and thought it should fit.

I've got mine installed and tucked best i could, overall i'm satisfied. Tires were all about 10psi low on air, so it gained a little with 34psi in the tires. Haven't gotten a new pic yet. Sounds mean and actually stayed in place after a few drives around town.

So you can drop the trans without removing any exhaust if you have long tube headers. It makes things a little difficult but it can be done. Gotta go up and over the rear diff with the driveshaft and it will rest on the duals. Really saves some headaches

Sorry for the super basic question, but aren't the tips welded to the muffler? Do you have to remove the tips, insert the spiral, and then re-weld the tips on?

Has anyone here installed the axle dump version - https://www.speed-engineering.com/sh...axle-dump.html

How much louder is this? I suspect there's limited to no additional power gain?

Howling_mad, yes the dumps are pretty damn loud. They bounce alot ove sound off the ground and back in the interior. Angling the tips out ward helps. With my cam it sounds awesome,I love it. For a daily I wouldn't do it though.

Dang, that's a shame. They look awesome, I liked the idea of hidden tips...the price point isn't bad either. I wonder how much louder than the rear exit they really are?

Howling_mad, you could always add something like a set of borla oval xr1 mufflers to tone it down. Do some YouTube searching, somebody's prolly done it.

Very true. At that point though the cost would exceed that of the rear exit, which probably doesn't make sense. Oh well!

What's everyone using for spark plug wires on these? Is it common to replace the plugs since you're already down there? Recommendations?

Great videos, thanks for sharing! So I'm gathering that they're definitely a bit louder. Did you have them turned down to the ground or pointed to the side?

In your opinion, how much louder are they? Obnoxiously so on an otherwise stock car?

You could always extend the pipes out to exit in front of the rear tires. Some round to oval tubing would work. In some states the dumps won't pass inspection.

True that's totally an option. No inspection here, zero worry. I'll need to talk to my F-Body guy in town and get his thoughts.
