Default Meziere EWP leaking??

Finally fired the motor up. God damn it sounds good!

One problem though. There seems to be a somewhat significant leak coming from the water pump. It seems to be originating from the spot where it had been clearanced (bought the unit used) to clear the TB mounting ear on the Fast 102.

I drained the coolant, took the upper rad hose off (and the fitting on the pump itself) but I don't see any sort of hole or place it could leak from. What's even more weird is it only does it while the engine is running. Can turn the pump on on it's own all day and it does nothing.

Has anyone ever seen these pumps leak from the seam that runs around the outside of the housing? If so, is there a fix or is my only option sending it off to Meziere?

Sent some pictures to Meziere about what was going on. Ended up actually talking to Don Meziere, who said it can be disassembled and resealed for a fairly cheap price.

So that'll be in the mail tomorrow. Will post an update when I get it back. In the meantime, at least I have my mechanical pump to tide me over.

doing the seals in the body is cake. it's just two shells that bolt together and some rubber seals.

rebuilding the center section is something i would send in.

I ended up sending it to Meziere. It was like $50 for them to fix.
