Default Edelbrock Victor Headers

just arrived. victor headers and y pipe.they look sweeeeet. they come with everything you need . even have air and egr flanges you can weld on if you need them. have o2 extensions also . you have to weld on o2 bungs but that is ok with me .trial fitt this weekend and then off to be coated . all for under $450 .

Yep yep! They look great. I think BY FAR the best bang for the buck in LS1 headers.

Aren't those the ones 1 5/8 stepped to 1 7/8, black painted?

yes they are stepped . my brother in law works for a powder coating company and will coat them for me

I thought they were 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8.

I dont understand the "weld on" part. I want "race" headers with no hookups, just straight pipes with no holes or bungs for anything. Is that how they come and you drill a hole then weld the bung on if you want?

Sounds like an excellent alternative to pacesetters "race" style. Anyone know where I can find pics of these LS1 headers, I mainly want to see the Y pipe.

How do you attach the collectors to the header tubes without leaks?
From the picture it does not look like there is enough room to weld completely around each header tube.

Test fit them and then weld a bead around each primary. then push the collector on and weld up to the bead. There is enough room.

There are no leaks on the merge collectors on my Edelbrock's. They've got great ground clearance, make plenty of power, easy to install, and are priced reasonable.

did a lot of calling and summit might be your only hope
alot of the dealers said no stk till next month
jegs has 2 y pipes left no headers as of thurs last week

i ordered mine from SDPC on tuesday and they came in today, just waiting on the y pipe from edelbrock. im curious though, if i dont plan to keep the AIR or EGR, what do i need out of that whole bag of nuts, bolts and what not?

you need the o2 sensor bungs
