Default Just bought a WS9 hood, Have a ? about ram air

How does the air get from the "nostrils" to the engine? Will I need a new airbox? A new air lid? If so suggestions on what kind/where to buy.

Do a search on "sealing the lid" Or sealing ram air. There is a kit to make it 100% forced. You will also need the taller air box that the WS6 came with. The hood should have an open are inside that lines up with the air lid/box.

you are going to need the bottom part of the airbox. you can get it from gmpartsdirect.com for like $70. the part # is 12455209 (i think). then you can use the brian greene kit to seal the hood directly to the box. i think that speed inc sells them. hope that helps

doesnt the raptor hood use the inverted air box?? the larger lower box would do nothing for you since the air is forced from the top, if thats the case.
