Bump stop opens up the blade more to 90 degrees=better throttle response. P&P TB will give your TB a true 78 mm size= been proven to gain 7-10rwhp.

Should do both.

Does anyone have a multimeter I could borrow? I'd pay for shipping both ways.

PewterPower,

it seems that there are differnt reading form the actaully TB when you push it all the way back than from the gas pedal.. So can you take the slack out of the gas pedal to get a true reading.. as close to 4.71v???

and do you have any pics of where you put the spacers so that when you floor it with the pedal it reaches the bump stop

thanks

For the cost of shipping you could find one at Walmart, Radio Shack etc.

Just went and looked at my bbk 80mm throttle body and it doesnt even open close to 90* and i plugged in the old voltmeter and only registered 4.14 volts with the t/b wide open. So tomorrow i will be grinding down the bump stop. Thanks for the write-up.

Ok so i tried to grind it and went through like 8 grinding stones. i think i just bought some cheap ones. I got them at the local hardware store. What did you guys use to grind down the bump stop. I had to stop at 4.49 volts because i ran out of stones.

This may be a stupid question, but what did you have the volometer set to? Mine has like 3 different settings, and then like an auto detect one.
